I love learning to think better
with the people around me.

Trey Miller

I started my first business selling stickers and school supplies out of a cigar box in the third grade. Since then, I've quit, gotten fired, or been laid off from more than 35 jobs.

My last "real job" ended the day my boss and I got laid off, three months before the birth of my first son. Instead of polishing my résumé, I started a business.

That decision began a two-decade journey of building, leading, merging, and ultimately selling a business in the managed services industry.

Over nearly twenty years, our team grew Triad Tech Services into a respected regional managed service provider before merging with another MSP to form The Longleaf Network. As CEO, I helped lead the combined organization through a period of rapid growth, organizational evolution, customer expansion, and strategic partnerships. Ultimately, my partners and I chose Thrive as the next home for our employees, clients, and business.

Following Thrive's acquisition of The Longleaf Network, I continued as an executive leader, helping support post-acquisition integration, organizational change, strategic growth initiatives, and corporate development efforts.

Along the way, I've served as a founder, CEO, board member and advisor, facilitator, and operator. I've helped organizations navigate growth, acquisitions, succession, and organizational redesign by facilitating the kinds of leadership conversations that become increasingly important through all these forms of change.

Adalia Advisors is the continuation of that work — helping other leaders and their teams navigate the moments I've lived through from the inside.

The common thread through all of these experiences has been simple: learning to think better with the people around me — and helping leaders and their teams do the same.

Outside of work, I'm endlessly curious about leadership, economics, technology, theology, philosophy, and the ideas that shape individuals, organizations, and cultures.
